Prints

Linocut is a printing technique where a block of linoleum is cut away to create a picture. The parts cut away will appear white (or will allow an already-existent color to show through). To get multiple colors with one piece of linoleum, you have to first cut away your whites, print, then cut away whatever you don't want to be your next color, print, and so on.

Monoprinting is a printing technique where ink is applied to a flat surface such as a piece of glass and then brushed and/or scratched away to create lighter areas. It gives one or maybe two prints.

There's a recent trend on the internet where you color kids' coloring pages. I think it's kind of silly, really, but I do love The Lion King! The story is actually quite good and from an artistic standpoint, the music and animation are outstanding.
